Tanzania is a large East African country located along the Indian Ocean coast. With over 60 million people, Tanzania is one of Africa’s most populous countries and also extremely diverse: more than 120 ethnic groups and over 100 languages spoken. The population is roughly split between Christians, Muslims, and traditional African religions.

Country’s economy is built on  agriculture of coffee, tea, cotton, cashews, and minerals like gold and tanzanite (a gemstone found only in Tanzania). Tourism is also significant, driven by wildlife safaris and cultural attractions.
